Equipped with a cc 2-stroke twin and a 6-speed transmission, the bike was stripped to the frame and re-finished with fresh paint, new bodywork, and controls. The engine was rebuilt in with new crank seals, custom porting, larger carburetors, and an electronic ignition. A fiberglass front fender, seat pan, and fairing were fitted, and the suspension was updated with rebuilt forks and Hagon shocks. The seller fabricated custom mounts for the rear-sets, and the front brake was re-lined and arced by VIntage Brakes. The rear brake was re-lined with new shoes. Chrome wheels are fitted with Avon tires.
It was first manufactured in but introduced as a model and was produced until the end of the model year. Production peaked at more than units per month. It was superseded by an updated version which was designated the T
